A community of 500 families with a common love for Tamil culture, language, food, and heritage! With beginnings in the 1986, the community grew to be registered as a non profit organization in 1990.

    VasaiRoad Tamil Sangam is a registered non-profit, Tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961 promoting Culture, Art and Literature of Tamil ethnic people and charitable causes encompassing people living in and around Vasai Road and Virar.

    Vasai Road Tamil Sangam today exists for promoting Culture, Art and Literature of Tamil ethnic community and for charitable causes impacting lives of people in need around the world. Vasai Road Tamil Sangam is one of the oldest languages of the world, spoken by over 77 million people living around the world.

    Vasai Road Tamil Sangam strives to raise, solicit, collect, and dispose funds and donations for charities, cultural, educational and humanitarian purposes, either directly or in cooperation with other registered non-profit organizations.

    Children of our Tamil community is our primary focus as they would be torch bearers of our rich traditions carried from Sangam periods to now.

    Ever since our Sangam has been incepted, we have given utmost importance to Tamil Events and activities. Tamil is the one of the Oldest languages on earth, and our ancient literature is very precious to our community.
